Item page not possible to show 100% width if 1 column specified

If I select to show "One column" for "Item details" in item page configuration, the value of "Columns size" is also always used for the item page presentation. Columns size configuration does not provide a 100% selection so never a width of 100% is possible for a single column. I would expect that a "One column" selection will always use 100% width or a 100% width item should be available in "Columns size" list.
