Sorry for not adding pictures... I think that it should be easy to follow (my lazy way out), if this is not the case let me know.
I tried to import a list of users a noticed that Ruko will not import users with the same username... very good I said.
Then I tried importing some customer names to my system. The customer name field in my application is set to Unique and, encouraged by the behaviour with the Users table, I did not clean the list before importing it. As a result I ended up with duplicate customers...
While this is not a massive problem, as I can delete the duplicates in Excel before importing the data, I thought that you may want to know that the import process is not checking for duplicates, in case this can be improved.

Yes, Import works in this way. There is other action "update and import new" that allows you check records by selected field.
But by default import not check unique fields because because with import lots of data there will be high server load.
