Dev Environment for Ruko

Hi All,

Could anyone suggest a PHP IDE or Development environment to setup up to make modifications for the Ruko codebase. My reason is to modify some parts of the PHP that renders pages to allow a few more options for style. I also wanted to add a module for an Indian payment gateway called Paytm. But before I do my own thing, I thought I'd ask the community.
