Accent for exporting to pdf

Post by Didou12 »

Hi,

A little issue about accents (à, é, ...) for exporting model to pdf with a docx as model. It displays squares.

Thanks

it's with fields sometimes, and with the text in the template DOCX, very random. Accent are different or are square.

In project, with PDF (it's ok with print, docx).

This is because PDF lib try to use font form docx, but if font not exist it can't display text correctly.
You can to install all required fonts for pdf.

Oh yeah, true !! that's why on my browser and docx it works (because fonts are on my computer).

Sorry for the convenience, I didn't think about that. Thank you

Finally, not really solved, I notice some errors :

- parenthesis are transformed into square
- some punctuation are overlapping ( for example with ":" it's overlapped with the next information)
- some punctuation have an extra space after it (for example "d' app" instead "d'app")
- paragraphs/lines are very spaced

First make sure you have loaded all types of font (bold, italic etc.)
But anyway I can suggest not use some not standard font, because app can't read it correctly.

Yes, all fonts are loaded,

With Arial in the docx, it doesn't work too (now it's other accents).

I will use print and not directly PDF with model docx, sorry.
