Wrong behaviour on entering numeric values in field with assigned currency

Post by rh@syconics.de »

Specify different numeric fields on a form and select none, 1 and several currencies in the currency field for different fields on the value tab.

I recognized following behaviour while entering a numeric value in a field with only 1 currency assigned:

other numeric fields in form with no currencies assigned stay as they are => seems to be okay
other numeric fields in form with several currencies assigned (more than 1) stay as they are => seems to be okay

other numeric fields in form with also only 1 currency assigned (currency may be different from currency of the field where You enter the value) are updated coontineously with the value of the field You are entering => wrong behaviour, entry should not affect any other fields

Not clear how to reproduce this issue. Please reproduce it on personal demo https://www.rukovoditel.net/demo.php
and give me the link to the page where problem is.

Please use following link:
https://pdemo.rukovoditel.pro/3.3/index ... mo_id=1892

Please add a new record in "Test-Form for Currency Error"
Enter alternately a value in any of those fields with only 1 currency assigned => all other fields with a single currency assigned are updated

This means that it is only possible to specify a single field with a currency per form which corresponds to all other fields with also a single currency. A second numeric field for other purposes with same currency cannot be used because it is always updated by the value of first field with single currency and vice versa.

Please enter value in one of the other fields (i. e. "Test-Field with Currency EUR"). You will see that all other fields with single currency will be updated.

Yes, this is correct. If you setup currency to field then app try auto convert all fields where currencies is setup.

Okay, I understand. But I think this is not convenient if You are dealing with different amounts on same form. Maybe it makes sense in future to provide the opportunity with an additional field to build a relation between currency fields which belong together.

Thanks so far.
