Run Process After Add Record Can't Do Manual Entry?

If I create an Automate Actions button with "Run Process After Adding Record" & configure a field to be entered manually, it does not provide a manual entry field. In my case, it is a dropdown of items. Instead of allowing manual selection, it will automatically choose the first item in the list.

Yes, it's true. Process runs in background and you can't modify data in it.
