Hiding access to fields

Hello.
I created a field where is possible to upload the files. However, I want to make visible (downloadable) those files only to the author, and not to the other persons.
Is it possible to do and how?

There is no configuration for this.

all this record is for author only ? or just the file field ?

If just file field, I think you need to create an entity with attributed field to the user and file field, and link this record to your other record.
