Hello,
When I add a new record, I have configured an email sending rule to send an email to an assigned user (Created by) but it does not seem to work. I am not sure what the problem is. I want to be able to receive an email for everytime a new record is added. I am able to receive an email for adding a comment under a record but not when created one.
Please help.

Please check that you have "Disable email notifications" set to "No" in the entity configuration.

I already had "Disable email notifications" set to "No" in the entity configuration. Still not sure why it is not sending emails.

Have you already read this?
https://docs.rukovoditel.net/index.php?p=75
If you have selected No in Disable email notification the system will send you an email every time a record is created, you dont need an email sending rule for this.
I will suggest to you that intead of Sen to assigned users, use send to email and give a try
Please let me know the outcome

Re: Email Notifications for adding a record
I figured it out. I had have "Copy to Sender" as "Yes" under Configuration > Email > Email Options.
Thank you all for the help.
