Jump bewteen records from the same entity

Hello,
I am thinking it would be great in a database structure with an ENTITY with a few SUBENTITYS, jump through the records of an entity when watching the table/list/grid by of a subentity.
Example:

Top level entity: Projects
Subentities: Tasks, tickets.

When viewing the table with tasks being in a specific project, in the top of the page to have a dropdown list with all the projects (maybe show some records from condition, like active projects) an can jump to the table view with records of another projects..

Another idea:
If you are in the record page of a specific task in a specific project, can jump to another record page of other task (sabe subentity), maybe the list of task to show depends on a certain condition too.
