Hi Sergey,
there seems to be a problem with Automatic status.
I have a list fields choices with parents and every parent has some children. In the attached case, parents and some children are disabled. When disabled then there are no filters. However, parent still fires. Please see screen shots below:
Thank you for your help, Pepe

Re: Automatic status
Can't reproduce it. But I tested 2.8
Once 2.8 will be released I will not support 2.7 version.

Re: Automatic status
Hi Sergey,
I have a online presentation about the system next week and it looks like, everything is breaking apart at the moment. I am extremely desperat about the situation and would really appreciate your help!!
For testing, did setup a new field Automatic Status:
1. First, I added 1 item (RED), no filters. The cron update does not work!
2. When I edit the record manually then it will update the field.
3. Added a second field (Green), no filters, moved it to the top of the list. When editing a record, the choice still falls through to the second item of the fiels choices list although the first does not have a filter.
Screenshot of fields choices:
Thank you, Pepe

Re: Automatic status
I'm working on 7.4 and don't have issue like this.
Looks like your cron runs different version then 7.4
