don't worry, with any upgrades all data will be saved

the upgrade process is easy, in general there is just two steps: replace file, and run upgrade sql command

anyway there is Backup page under Tools menu that need to run before upgrade:)

Yes, this is issue, public calendar should display event author.
And this issue already fixed in Extension 1.1

Extension 1.1 will be released with product 1.5

At the moment product in testing phase so I think it will be released at the end of next week

if you create calendar report then it means items will display as events and then Start Date and End Date are requried
So Entity should have fileds with type "Date" which you can use as Start/End Dates.
Since you entity don't have any fileds with type Date you can't create Calendar report

Why not just create Entity called "Documents"? where add filed to update file Version, Status etc
